SINCERE THANKS The Family of Jimmy (Jim) L. Smith of Cowden wishes to thank all our family, friends, and neighbors, who sent cards, food, flowers, the ones who visited, and the many prayers and memorials during Jim’s illness and passing. Dr. Irene Dy and her staff for their care and kindness during Jim’s appointments and treatments. Dr. Dy touched our hearts by her phone call and her taking time to come to Jim’s visitation. Hospice Team of St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, especially Tami “our Angel of a nurse” who spent many an hour caring for Jim and helping us through this difficult time. The girl’s at Niemerg’s Steakhouse who meant so much to Jim and I. Lockart and Green Funeral Home for their kindness and caring assitance with Jim’s Services. A Big Tahnk you to Pastor Darrell Hinkle and wife Linda for being there for all the family with love and comfort. Pagliacci’s Restaurant and our waitress Rhonda who helped prepare and serve the meal after the funeral. Special Thanks to Scott Wattles of Mattoon who sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “How Great Thou Art”. Music selections by Eric Clapton-”Stairway to Heaven” and “Wonderful Night”, Dolly Pardon- “I’ll Always Love You” and Tracey Byrd- “Keeper of the Stars were also played. These were Jim’s requests. Thanks to the pall bearers Special Nephews Carl Weber IV and Jason Weber, Cousin Terry Mattherly, Friends Steve Holley, Gary Cadwell and Jerry Clutter Jr. God Bless You All!!
