Case No. CJ-2009-2893-BH NOTICE OF SEIZURE AND INTENDED FORFEITURE THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: Anyone claiming an interest in the following-described currency. You are hereby notified that the State of Oklahoma has seized and intends to forfeit the following described currency. FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS ($532.00) IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY. Said currency was on or about the 27th day of October, 2009, acquired and/or used in Cleveland County during a violation of the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act, 63 O.S. 2001, §2-101 et seq., when Jimmy Darreil Brown and Doreen Gordon concealed, possessed and transported Marijuana with intent to distribute, drug paraphernalia, and the above-captioned currency constituting drug proceeds. Said currency was in close proximity to controlled dangerous substances and there was no other likely source for said currency but for a violation of Act. Further, said currency was used or available for use to facilitate a violation of the Act. 63 O.S. Supp. 2007, §2-503.A.6, A.7, B. and 63 O.S. 2001, §2-503.1. The owner, claimant or other party in interest may file a verified answer and claim to said currency within forty-five (45) days after the mailing or publication of this Notice, after which time the State of Oklahoma will move the Court for an Order of Forfeiture of said currency in compliance with 63 O.S.
