(First Published September 18, 2015) Notice of Bid New Type I or Type III Ambulance for Barry Lawrence County Ambulance District Barry Lawrence County Ambulance District is accepting bids for a 2015 or newer chassis, Type I or Type III ambulance for use in emergency and non-emergency patient care and transport. This specification covers a new commercially produced emergency medical care vehicle. This vehicle shall be in accordance with the Ambulance Design Criteria of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, United States Department of Transportation. It is the intent of this agency to purchase vehicle(s) that are professionally engineered and designed. It is paramount to this agency that vehicle(s) presented be built by a reputable manufacturer with considerable experience in the ambulance manufacturing field. The award of this contract is not based on price alone. Award will be based on the bidder submitting any/all information requested, clarity of bid, adherence to the terms and conditions, compliance with the specifications, delivery time, product performance, references submitted, ability to perform follow up service and any other information this District deems appropriate. The decision of which firm will receive the award will be the sole decision of this District and shall be accepted without hesitation by all bidders No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted. Bids will be received in a clearly marked envelope with the words "ePCR BID" and addressed to: Board of Directors Barry Lawrence County Ambulance District PO Box 384 Monett MO 6708 Bids will be accepted until 5 p.m. CST October 13th, 2015. Bid responses will be opened at the October Board meeting, taken under advisement and evaluated. The winning bidder will be notified once a decision is made.
