NOTICE
OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING AS TO ISSUANCE OF CITY OF RICHMOND, KENTUCKY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REFUNDING AND IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS (TELFORD YMCA PROJECT), SERIES 2018
Pursuant to Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the "Code"), as amended, notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 6:00 P.M., E.S.T., at the regular meeting place of the City Commission of the
City of Richmond, Kentucky
at 239 West Main Street, Richmond, Kentucky, the City Commission will hold a public hearing relating to the issuance of City of Richmond, Kentucky Economic Development Refunding and Improvement Revenue Bonds (Telford YMCA Project), Series 2018 (the "Bonds"), such Bonds to be issued pursuant to Sections 103.200 through 103.285 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes and as qualified 501(c)(3) bonds pursuant to Section 145 of the Code, to assist Telford Comunity Center Young Men’s Christian Association, Incorporated, a Kentucky non-profit corporation (the "Corporation") in financing the cost of (1) a "building" project to consist of the renovation and equipping of a recreational facility and community center at 1100 East Main Street, Richmond, Kentucky 40475, including demolition of certain specified structures and renovation of a gymnasium [the "Project"], and (2) refunding of various outstanding debt of the Corporation. The Project will be owned and operated by the Corporation as an integral part of its existing recreational facilities and for uses incidental thereto. The maximum aggregate face amount of the Bonds to be issued shall be $1,400,000.
At such Hearing, interested individuals will be given the opportunity to express their views on the proposed issue of Bonds and the location and nature of the Project.
