(First Published October 11, 2018) The Joplin City Health Department provides Services in the Following Areas: Adult Flu Shots Animal Control Childhood and Immigration Immunizations Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program Communicable Disease Testing and Investigations Child Safety Issues Environmental Complaint Investigations Food Establishment/Lodging/Day Care Inspection Program HIV Counseling and Testing Services Jasper County WIC Program Low Income Pharmacy Support Program (through the Community Clinic of Joplin) Medicaid (MC+) Enrollment and Temporary Medicaid Enrollment Mosquito Control Pregnancy Testing and Referral Public Health Emergency Preparedness STD Testing and Treatment Swimming Pool Sanitation and Safety Program Tobacco Use Prevention for Pregnant Women Training Classes/Public Presentations Tuberculosis Testing and Investigation Vital Records (Birth and Death Certificates) for Missouri born Residents Yellow Fever Vaccinations Program Some services provided in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services through Funding contract numbers: AO193800-10, AOC1830071, AOC18380130 and ERS2220-17051.
