CITY OF RICHMOND
SECTION 00010 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOUNTAIN/GARDEN SQUARE PROJECT
Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Richmond for the Fountain/Garden Square Package. The scope of work includes landscaping, construction of sidewalk, fountain, arbors, pavilion, electrical and storm utilities, and temporary erosion control as described in the full summary of work and shown on the attachments. The project is located along Main Street, from 1st Street to 3rd Street, and along N 1st Street, from Main Street to Irvine Street.
Pre-Bid Conference will be held on November 5 at 2:00 pm at Richmond City Hall, 239 W. Main St.
A walkthrough of project will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
Pre-Bid Conference is encouraged but not mandatory.
Last Day for Questions shall be.
Last Addendum shall be issued on November 15 by 5 pm.
Contractors are encouraged to utilize local Vendors and Suppliers.

) for a non-refundable amount paid by the Contractor. Partial sets of documents will not be provided.
Bids must be delivered to Attn: Mayor Jim Barnes, Richmond City Hall, 239 West Main Street, Richmond, KY. 40475, on or before 2:00 P.M. prevailing local time on Monday, November 19, 2018. The City of Richmond reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in said bids.
The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
This contract is considered Lump Sum Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to negotiate with apparent successful bidder as necessary to meet the needs of the Owner.
Each BIDDER must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
No BIDDER may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
No price escalation during the time of the Construction Contract (approx. 365 days) shall be considered.
