Published in the Tahlequah Daily Press on October 25 and November 1, 2018 BID NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Tahlequah, Oklahoma CITY SIDEWALKS College Avenue & Morgan Street City Project No. 210-50-8504 Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Tahlequah at the Office of the City Clerk located at 111 S. Cherokee Ave., Tahlequah, Oklahoma 74464 until 3:20 pm, Friday, November 16, 2018. Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud beginning at 3:30 pm, Friday, November 16, 2018 in the City Council Chambers located at 111 S. Cherokee Ave., Tahlequah, Oklahoma 74464 Any bids received after the scheduled time for closing will be returned unopened. The work includes the following: Furnishing all equipment, labor, materials and performing all necessary construction from the project plans including but not limited to the following items: 800 L.F. CONCRETE SIDEWALK 400 L.F. COMBINED CURB & GUTTERSTORM DRAIN INLET & PIPING RETAINING WALL, HAND RAILING & MISC. ITEMS all in the City of Tahlequah, Cherokee County, Oklahoma. Bidders must bid on all items in the Plans. The Contractor awarded the contract will be required to submit the following Bonds: 1. Performance Bond to the Full Amount of the Contract Price. 2. Payment Bond for payment of all labor and materials used in the construction of such improvements in the Full Amount of the Contract Price. 3. Five Year Maintenance Bond to the Full Amount of the Contract Price. The City will not accept letters of credit in lieu of any bond required herein. It will be the responsibility of the Bidder to download the Standard ODOT Specifications & Drawings needed for construction and estimating purposes. Copies of the bid documents are on file with the Tahlequah City Clerk at 111 S. Cherokee, Tahlequah, Oklahoma and are open for public inspection. A set of said documents may be obtained from the project engineer – Kelly Engineering & Associates, 103 mimosa Lane, Tahlequah, OK 74464. (918) 207-5115 upon $50.00 payment for the cost of reproduction and mailing and will not be refunded. Bidder must purchase a set of documents from the project engineer. Bidder must be on the Engineer's official plan holder's list in order to receive addendums and to submit a bid. No Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled. The proposals filed with the Tahlequah City Clerk shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond or Cashiers Check for not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable without reserve to the City of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Bid Packets must be in sealed envelope labeled “SEALED BID – City of Tahlequah – CITY SIDEWALK PROJECT”, clearly marked for visibility on the outside.The bidder must supply all the information required by the bid and proposal form including completion of the Bidders Certifications and affidavits or his bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least Sixty (60) days.
