(First Published November 11, 2018) INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that the Director of Public Works of the City of Joplin, Missouri, will accept sealed bids for the following improvements in the City of Joplin, Missouri: MH Casting Replacements in Streets This project requires circular pavement cuts around 25 manhole lids and frames. New castings will be set to grade and encased with a concrete collar. The project is comprised of priority work to be done ahead of the 2019 overlay project, as well as, work within 7th Street (Rte. 66), which requires installation of 10 hinged lids, along with obtaining a permit from MoDOT. Plans are on file and may be picked up in the office of the Director of Public Works located at 602 S. Main Street, 4th floor or on the City's web-site. Sealed bids must be received by said Director of Public Works before 10:30 a.m. on the 29th day of November 2018. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the 4th floor Conference Room of City Hall. A mandatory pre-bid will be held on 20th of November 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the 4th floor conference room of City Hall. Specifications will follow current City Standards.
