NOTICE Palo Pinto Appraisal District is accepting proposals from certified public accounting firms to provide audit services. PPAD has determined that it will obtain an audit to perform a year-end audit of PPAD’s financial statements and records as required by Section 6.063, Property Tax Code, beginning fiscal year 2018 and continuing as agreed to by both parties. Each vendor must furnish all information required by the proposal and must propose a specific price for all requested years. Bids should conform to the specification established by the District. A copy of the specifications is included in this packet. Two (2) copies of the proposal shall be delivered in a sealed envelope marked on the outside “2018 AUDIT SERVICES PROPOSAL” prior to 4:30 on Friday, January 11, 2019 to Donna Kozlovsky, Chief Appraiser, Palo Pinto Appraisal District, P.O. Box 250, Palo Pinto TX 76484. The Board of Directors will consider all proposals at their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Proposals shall include materials sufficient to satisfy the requirements of Tex. Gov’t Code § 808 (verifying that said Proposer does not Boycott Israel now and for the term of this contract) and § 2252.152 (verify that said Proposer is not identified on any list maintained by the State of Texas as a company engaged in business with Iran, Sudan or a foreign terrorist organization).
