NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the
Board of Trustees of Danville Township
will hold a Public Hearing on November 13, 2018 at 4:00 p.m., in the Town Hall at 101 West North Street in Danville, Illinois to approve the proposed 2018-2019 Tax Levy Ordinance as required by Public Act 82-102; Truth in Taxation of the State of Illinois.
All persons desiring to be heard shall have an opportunity to present testimony concerning said Levy. The aggregate amount of property taxes extended for the preceding year 2017-2018 for the Road District totaled $620,753.43. The amount of the proposed levy for the current year 2018-2019 is $713,245.70. This represents a 14.9 per cent increase over the previous year.
