(First Published December 5, 2018) REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES Liberal R-II School District FEMA 361 Tornado Safe Rooms The Liberal R-II School District is requesting Statements of Qualifications for the services of a Construction Manager for the construction of two FEMA 361 Safe Rooms and adjacent attached spaces. One project will be located at the Liberal Middle/High School Campus and the other located at the Elementary Campus. The Construction Manager will be required to work with the Liberal R-II School District Board of Education and the Design Team led by Paragon Architecture and the Grant Management Team led by Visionary Grant Group beginning mid-January 2019 starting with the schematic design, through construction preparation and the construction process. The Construction Manager will be expected to provide a full range of pre-construction and construction phase services. Upon the award of a construction management service contract, the Construction Manager shall perform its services in an expeditious and economical manner. All actual construction work on the project shall be awarded through competitive bidding as required by Missouri Law. Qualifications will be due no later than 3:00 pm, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Liberal R-II School District Central Office, 107 S. Payne, Liberal, Missouri 64762. The school district reserves the right to reject any or all qualification/proposal submittals and to waive any informality and irregularity in the qualifications/proposals and to select the firm that is in the best interest of the District and in compliance with the terms set forth herein.
