The State University of New York at Oneonta will receive sealed bids for project number 09421 titled Oneonta Auxiliary Services Facility until 2:00p.m. local time on August 11, 2015 at the Facilities and Planning Office, 322 West Street, Oneonta, New York 13820 where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals may be hand delivered to the above location or mailed to SUNY Oneonta, Attn: Deborah Murphy, 108 Ravine Parkway, Oneonta, New York 13820. All work on this Contract is to begin October 1, 2015 and be substantially complete by November 30, 2016 and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations. Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of $$50.00 for printed documents, or $10.00 for Electronic or digital copies made payable to Dataflow LLC is required for each complete set. Bidders can supply their own UPS or Fed Ex account number, or a separate check for shipping. ), is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. In order for your bid to be accepted, you must be on the list of plan holders. To become a plan holder, you must purchase the documents from the above location. A pre-Bid conference and project walk through will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 at the SUNY Oneonta Campus, Hunt Union International Lounge. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
