LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF COLLECTION OF VILLAGE TAX TAKE NOTICE, That the Village of Cooperstown, New York have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of the General Village Tax of the Village of Cooperstown for the fiscal year beginning June 1, 2015 and ending May 31, 2016. Taxes will be collected in two equal installments at the Village Office, 22 Main Street, Cooperstown, N.Y. from June 1, 2015 to and including November 2, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excepting Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The SECOND INSTALLMENT to be collected from August 1, 2015 to and including Monday, August 31, 2015 without additional charges. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that on the second installment of all such taxes remaining unpaid on September 1, 2015 (5%) five percent will be added for the first month and an additional (1%) one percent will be added for each month and fraction thereafter, until paid or returned to Otsego County Treasurer.
