NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Village of Laurens Water Department is seeking bids for the following until 12:00 Noon on August 4th, 2015 at 37 Brook Street Laurens, NY 13796. 607/433-2816: 55,000 BTU Condensing Hot Water Boiler Fired LP Stainless Steel heat exchanger Minimum of 94% AFUE Rating All bidders' shall obtain and apply for all Municipal permits for the execution of all work. All work to be inspected. Mandatory use of the Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule. All Bids must be Sealed. All work to be done in accordance with NFPA 90A. Installation of gas fired unit in accordance with NFPA 51 and applicable Codes. All electrical work to be done by NEC codes. Replace any antiquate controls and/ or parts. MUST have heating permit! Removal of old heat system and make any necessary repairs to building. All bids received pursuant to this notice will be publicly opened and read at a regular meeting of the Laurens Village Board on August 4th, at 7:00 pm. All bids must be accompanied by a certificate executed pursuant to section 103d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. These certificates are available from the village clerk.
