(Published in The Norman Transcript October 19, 26, 2018, 2t) NOTICE TO BIDDERS #HD-1883 Notice is hereby given that Cleveland County will accept bids on the following: Convert existing Women’s Restroom at the Cleveland County Health Department into a uni-sex restroom with shower. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and Business Relationship Affidavit are part of the bid requirements. Bid documents with specifications may be picked up from the County Purchasing Department, located at 201 S. Jones, Suite 250, Norman, Okla., between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. Bids will be received until 4:30 P.M., Friday, November 9, 2018, and will be opened 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 13, 2018, during the County Commissioners’ meeting held at 201 S. Jones, Suite 200, Norman, OK. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted. A Bid Bond (Surety Bond) or Cashiers Check in the amount of 5% of your total bid price, made payable to Cleveland County must accompany your bid. The surety bond or cash guarantees the County that the Contractor will, if awarded a contract, provide the necessary Performance Bonds (s) and properly completed Contract within the time required by Cleveland County. All necessary affidavits and bonds must accompany bids. The Bidders awarded contract requiring Labor and Materials must sign and return a contract within fifteen (15) days and must submit a Performance Bond and a Statutory Labor and Materials Bond, prior to any work being started by the Contractor. The bidder may forfeit his Bid Bond (Surety Bond) if the required Contract and Bonds are no submitted on time.
